Anchor presents the Middle School Gymnasium renovations to the Boys Latin students, faculty and staff during the December 2024 Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

The Elmwood Park Zoo hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on May 29, 2024 to mark the completion of the brand new Welcome Center, Frank & Paige Engro Veterinary Health Center, and Centennial Plaza. The construction of this 37 thousand square foot building, managed by Anchor Management Group, hosts state-of-the-art animal exhibits and hospital, as well as retail and administrative spaces.

The Elmwood Park Zoo celebrates a Flag Dedication Ceremony on May 22, 2024. The 40′ Flag pole and American Flag were donated by Anchor Management Group and dedicated to David Wilson in honor of his service in the United States Army and for his long-standing employment and friendship with the Elmwood Park Zoo. The Wilson family attended the emotional event to raise the flag for the first time in David’s memory.

AMG renovates Springside Chestnut Hill Academy’s Landreth Field, a now state-of-the art Football, Lacrosse, and Soccer synthetic turf field.

Anchor celebrates the completion of Springside Chestnut Hill Academy synthetic turf Soccer, Field Hockey and Lacrosse field, dedicated to SCHA Class of 2016.

In April 2024, AMG celebrated the Ground Breaking Ceremony kicking off the building of multipurpose turf fields and softball field at Merion Mercy Academy.

Mike Rufo was selected to present an award for Educational Leadership at the 2023 Globy Awards to Mr. Michael Gary, Head of Friends Select School. Congratulations Michael, well deserved!

AMG completes Stadium Field and Class of 2016 Field upgrades at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy. The renovations included new synthetic turf systems with state of the art shock pad and environmentally sensitive organic infills, along with new netting systems.

In August 2023, Anchor Management Group opened a new Health & Wellness and Student Commons facilities at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy.

AMG is proud to continue our partnership with Springside Chestnut Hill Academy for the conversion of the Commons and Woodward Gymnasium into a new 5,800 sf. fitness center and new student space for dining, lounge, and study. The new space will be made available to the SCHA community in time for the 2023-2024 school year.

Anchor Management Group completes Stadium Field upgrade at Germantown Academy. The renovation demonstrates Anchor Management Group’s commitment to sustainability through the use of renewable material and environmentally sensitive products. The project includes a “shock pad”, proven to substantially reduce head-to-ground concussions as well as an environmentally friendly organic infill. The use of the new state-of-the-art, synthetic turf system demonstrates Germantown Academy’s continued commitment to both the safety of students and the use of sustainable products.

We recently participated in celebrating the ribbon cutting of the new STEAM Building for the Friends Select School! Anchor worked closely with the school as Owner Representative and Construction Manager for this newly acquired and renovated building to support Friends Selects growing curriculum, with cutting edge learning technology for their Art, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Media programs. This historic building underwent a significant structural overhaul and transformation to accommodate classroom function, faculty offices, energy efficiency, and a 6-stop elevator for accessibility. AMG is proud to continue our growing relationship with the Friends Select community!

In conjunction with the Friends Select Transformation Campaign, Anchor Management Group has been working diligently on the complete building renovation and redevelopment which will be the home of the Upper School STEAM program. The property was recently purchased by Friends Select, and continues their expansion in Center City. This historic brick townhome will provide the STEAM curriculum with four floors of more than 15,000 square feet of space for three modern science laboratories, two visual arts studios, one digital design lab, and six additional upper school classrooms. With construction well underway, the doors are expected to open for the Fall 2022 school year.

Germantown Academy, their Trustees, Anchor Management Group, and WRT celebrate the groundbreaking of the new, 25,000 sf. Health and Wellness Center to be constructed in the center of Campus. This facility will be centralized and connected to three existing campus buildings, and will celebrate athletics, wellness, and inclusivity for the entire GA Community. Stay tuned for construction progress updates! Doors expected to open in Fall, 2023.

AMG completes renovations of the Theater in the CLA at Westtown School. Renovations included a transformation of the Theater, teaching catwalks with expanded theatrical lighting and technologies, new mechanicals and state-of-the-art control systems. The Theater completes Phase II of the aggressive three phase Anchor Management Group building renovation and expansion undertaking.

Anchor Management Group selected to orchestrate the design, approval process and construction of a multi-phase, multi-year transformation of the historic Elmwood park Zoo.

AMG completes Phase I of a two phase complete building renovation and addition project on the 1880’s “REC” Building on the historic Chestnut hill Campus. AMG celebrates 20 years of partnership with CHA, Springside and SCH Academy.

Anchor Recently executed on the new rooftop synthetic turf replacement, complete with new screenings, organic infill system, safety screens, and safety pads. While faced with challenges with weather and logistics, the field was turned over in time for Spring Athletics!

The Anchor Management Group team celebrates with Friends Select Head of School  Michael Gary on their newly transformed first floor with a ribbon cutting ceremony! This project is part of their #AdvanceFSS: Transformation Campaign which aims to upgrade their facilities to match the first-rate programs and experiences that they provide their students. Anchor Management Group was proud to partner with the FS community in delivering such a special project to the school!

Anchor Management recently completed renovation of the Josephine Muller Auditorium Lobby, complete with revamped finishes, and a new feature wall to help celebrate the arts!

Anchor Management is honored to support Boys’ Latin Middle School’s Learning Garden. The Learning Garden program is a comprehensive Agri-Education and Agri-Career program aimed to educate and acclimatize urban children in underserved Philadelphia areas while promoting the value of healthy food choices. Anchor Management Group continues a wonderful relationship with Germantown Academy as we start the planning and design of a new state-of-the-art Health and Wellness Center.

Anchor Management Group is proud to help the Chester Clippers Youth Baseball Program with their Inaugural Season. The program serves children ages 13-19 and has plans to expand for the 2022 season. GOOD LUCK CLIPPERS!!!

AMG to commence Summer of 2021, Phase II of the Westtown School Center for Living Arts Project. Phase II consist of a complete transformation of the Theater Building including mechanicals, finishes, teaching catwalks, technology and lighting.

AMG has been selected as Project and Construction Manager to complete renovations at the Friends Select School in Center City Philadelphia. This Renovation includes updates to their main lobby, Select classrooms and administrative offices.

AMG completes the renovation of the Westtown School historic 1888 Gymnasium. Westtown School will utilize the space as a student center and learning forum through these challenging times.

Germantown Academy’s new Tinker Lab, constructed by Anchor Management Group in 2018, has recently been celebrated by 2 publications: School Planning & Management magazine, and Philadelphia Suburban Life magazine.
